Mr Ramesh Suri, the Founder and Chairman of Subros Ltd., lived a life that was both inspiring and impactful. A legendary industrialist, humble personality, and visionary leader, he embodied compassion and discipline, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. His unique ability to combine work ethic with empathetic mentorship made him a truly dynamic figure in the Indian automotive component industry.
As a pioneer, Mr Suri was instrumental in shaping the Indian Mobility landscape over six decades. In 1985, he co-founded Subros Ltd., steering it to become the country’s largest manufacturer of automotive and non-automotive thermal products and solutions. His foresight of the dynamic Indian automotive sector, combined with his unmatched understanding of customer needs, technological innovation, and the ‘Make in India’ mission, cemented Subros’s position as a market leader. He was also one of the first few Maruti Dealers in India and grew it to become amongst the largest Maruti Suzuki dealership, demonstrating his deep industry insight and business acumen.
Mr Suri served the industry with distinction, holding key roles such as President of ACMA and Vice Chairman of the CII Uttar Pradesh State Council. His visionary leadership continues to inspire us at Subros. Though his presence is deeply missed, his enduring philosophy and vision guide us toward a promising future.
