Ms Smita Piyush Mankad has over 30 years of experience spanning the corporate, social, and government sectors. She has extensive expertise in corporate banking, international business, supply chain, product development, and retail operations. Ms Mankad served as the Head of the Food Fortification Resource Centre at the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

In addition to her professional experience, Ms Mankad is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation. She mentors students at Ashoka University and Vedica Scholars in Delhi. She was selected for the Fortune Program in 2010, the Global Ambassadors Program in 2012, and the Vital Voices program in 2016. In 2021, she was awarded the prestigious Chevening Fellowship at the University of Oxford.

Ms Mankad holds a degree in Economics (Hons) from Delhi University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Mumbai.
